Good Times

I'm finally getting around to posting my first ever project life style layout. Whew...it is not easy to create in this format when your mind is used to an unobstructed 12x12 inches of space! As you can see, I only added three photos, opting for the larger "play area".

Using Fancy Pants' Down By The Shore collection, I enjoyed creating little "vignettes" such as the one below:

Will I do this again? Probably so. These spreads are great for showcasing multiple photos when I don't want to include them all on a traditional layout.  Actually, the back of this page will hold even more pictures from my day with friends, and the cool craft projects that we created.

I love it. I've been wanting to do something like Project Life without all the "stuff." This is a perfect way to do it.

You did an awesome job with the PL style, Madeline! I just did my first PL pages too (can't share yet though). :)

I commented on your cute layout yesterday, but you asked a question on my blog and you don't have your email attached to your account so I came here to answer! :) CAS is Clean and Simple. It's used to describe a very clean, often graphic or simple style of paper crafting! :)

Good for you for working outside your comfort zone. I haven't quite made the plunge but one day, maybe. Your pages look great for a first try.
