I started an art journal several months ago. It's a fun little book
where I get to play with my supplies and document things that might not
make it onto a scrapbook page. To streamline the process, I like to use
either scraps from recent pages or leftover kit contents. The colors are
already matched which is a great time saver. Playing with scraps, I'm
also not as worried about using up something valuable that I might want
or need later. Double bonus!
Remember that paper chain I
used as a mask recently? It's found a place on a journal page, along
with some scraps and stickers from Scraptastic's Great Adventures kit:
Do you have an art journal, smash book, or similar? What do you do with your scraps?

I love that you added the paper chain to your art journal.
love your art journal page!
my "art journal," which at the moment, is just a bunch of loose pages, is my place to play w/ tecnhiques and supplies...
Okay THAT is cute!
Very cool page!
And love that you recycled your mask :)
I don't have an art journal. But I try to use as many scraps as I can on cards or even another layout. If not they go into my scrap box which I share with my four year old daughter :)
Too cute, I love this-- love the washi tape too!
Looks awesome! Love the paper chain! :)
Super cute! I love that you used the mask from the other day in another project.
This is so fun! I love this mask you made! :(
Loving the paper chain...looks great!
this is VERY cool!!!!
That paper chain is awesome! Love that you were able to repurpose it.
Wonderful. I love how you reused your mask. I am so wanting to "Smash" and I need to just break down and "do it." LOL Thanks for the comment on D's Paper Studio today.
Great page, I like that you used your left over papers.
I have done a whole art journal. I know there isn't a right or wrong way to art journal, but if there was I think I did it the wrong way, lol. But I did enjoy it :)
Awesome use of your mask!
I don't have an art journal or smash book. I have organized my scraps according to color. They are stored right behind my desk, so I only have to turn around to go through them. Since I started doing this system, I am getting much more use from my scraps.
