With the scrapbook page below, I'm taking a look back at what used to be his favorite homework/study spot...the floor between the foyer and the family room. Yep, for a couple of years there, this was the place. He claimed it was comfortable. (I think he liked being in the middle of all the action.)
A grid design along with Bella Blvd. Star Student papers, stickers, and chipboard help to set the tone for my school-themed layout:
The cut-apart cards are perfect accompaniments and make assembling the page a snap.
For my mixed font title, I used two different Thickers chipboard alphas and Star Student letter stickers:
And for a little fun, I added a cork-board bulletin board, peppering it the board with banners, tags, stickers, chipboard, and a variety of coordinating brads:
Patterned Paper: (Bella Blvd. Star Student-Daily Details Paper, Chemistry Paper, and International Studies Paper), (Bella Blvd. Color Chaos-Words of Wisdom Paper); Embellishments: (Bella Blvd. Color Chaos-Chipboard Borders, Just Write Journaling Stickers), (Bella Blvd. Star Student-Treasures & Text Stickers, Trinket Stickers, and Chipboard Icons), Freckled Fawn Metal Clip, Wood Veneer, and brads.
So now that school's out, that boy had been taking it easy. NOT! He's actually been quite busy, lifeguarding between morning and afternoon swim practices!
"Out for summer"
"Out till fall"
"We might not go back at all!"
After 3 months of freedom, it's not going to be easy! ;)
