One Thing's For Sure...

Kevin will NEVER entertain thoughts on becoming an astronaut, pilot, or anything else that sends his body into warp speed through either the atmosphere or the space outside it. Epcot's simulator attraction, Mission:Space had two options from which to choose:

  • GREEN-the "lighter" version of the attraction with simulator action similar to Star Tours at Hollywood Studios.
  • ORANGE-the vomit-inducing, high velocity centrifuge that isn't for the weak of heart...or stomach.
Knowing how much Kevin enjoyed the intense roller coaster rides, Rock N Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest, we figured he'd be cool with the the all-out version of Mission:Space. While the rest of us opted for the Green queue line, he joined Brendan and Laura in Orange. OMGosh, what an experience! During the ride, Laura could hear him lamenting over and over..."I don't like this, I don't like this, I don't like this! "When it finally concluded, he stepped out of the ride and walked right into a wall! Nope, no astronaut aspirations for him. This page features the brave crew BEFORE boarding the "death chamber".

LMAO!!!!!! Oh wow. I totally understand. Yeah, you were very smart to catch that before photo! I will say that alex was not happy after Tower of Terror the first time and swore he would never ride it again, but three years later he loved it. Mission Space is a bit different. Its a real centrofuge so its not an easy thing to take. My whole family prefers the blue side (well green now).
Fantastic layout and I totally want to copy it! That kraft background is perfect
