Every now and again, I pull out some of my "leftover" travel pics. I still have photos from Italy, Bermuda, and an Alaskan cruise that I'd like to put on a layout. I go through my old photo envelopes with no real purpose other than hoping to match them up with papers from my stash. These colorful pictures of houseboats in the harbor at Vancouver jumped out at me, as did papers from October Afternoon's Boarding Pass collection.
But you know me, I had to mix in a few tidbits from elsewhere...like the Echo Park viewmaster reel cutout. See that strip of ship wheels on the bottom right? That paper has to be over 5 years old, but was perfect in color and theme. Just goes to show you...everything seems to find a use eventually!

such a fun layout!!!!
oh I love it when old paper is perfect! always save old paper that isn't ugly. LOVE these boats - so cool and the page is pretty fun too. Perfect papers for it.
I LOVE this layout! The "old" paper is perfect, and the colors in the photo are FANTASTIC! Fabulous job all around! Love Penny
I forgot to say, I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get to save any of your "Nancy Drew" books! Believe me it was a stretch for my mom to afford them also. I think she only kept it up because they helped my school work so much, because we didn't have much cash either. Love Penny
It's beautiful I love all the colour and all the tidbits :D
Great mix of newer and old product!
Perfect colors to go with your photos!! :)
Love it! It's got so much going on, but it stills draws your eye straight to the pictures.
